Fruit that fits your yard
You do not need acres to grow fruit. With dwarf and semi-dwarf varieties and careful pruning, a typical Southern California backyard can hold several productive trees. We plan for harvest timing too, so you are not getting everything in the same two weeks.
Planting done right
Most young fruit tree problems come from planting too deep, poor drainage or uneven watering. We plant at the right height, amend the soil, build a mulch ring and give each tree its own drip emitters. Then we show you, or our maintenance team, how to water and feed through the first years.
Popular choices in coastal SoCal
- Citrus: Meyer lemon, Eureka lemon, Bearss lime, navel and Valencia orange, mandarins
- Avocado: dwarf and standard varieties matched to your space
- Figs, pomegranates and guavas: tough, productive and water wise
- Low-chill stone fruit: peaches, nectarines and plums bred for mild winters
