Why we do this
Southern California has one of the best growing climates in the world, yet most backyards here grow lawn and little else. We started SoCal Edible Gardens to change that. A well-built raised bed garden with good soil and drip irrigation can feed a family salad greens, herbs and tomatoes most of the year, and fruit trees add lemons, avocados and figs on top.
