Many Los Alamitos and Rossmoor yards have large mature shade trees. That can make finding full sun the first challenge. During your garden plan visit we map sun hours across the yard and place beds where vegetables will get the six to eight hours of direct light they need.
Family gardens
Families here often want a garden the kids can help with. We design kid-friendly layouts with strawberries, snap peas, cherry tomatoes and sunflowers within easy reach, plus a simple watering setup on a timer.
Fruit tree favorites
Citrus, figs and avocados do very well in the Los Alamitos area. We can add a few fruit trees around your beds and set each one up with its own drip emitters.
